PRP Searches and Cost Allocation             More information
TechLaw has conducted over 1,500 PRP searches for government environmental agencies and private sector clients. Our searches are extremely thorough and well documented. They provide information regarding parties potentially liable for site contamination that can contribute to cleanup costs or be pursued for cost recovery. We also have extensive experience using the available information to prepare a defensible allocation of costs between parties.



Research and Analysis         More information
TechLaw has over 20 years of experience conducting historical research for government and private sector clients, which includes more valuable research conducted at the National Archives and Records Administration. We have conducted such research for Preliminary Assessments, RCRA Facility Assessments, and Environmental Site Histories (ESHs) for more than 2,000 sites.
Cost Evaluation, Analysis, and Audits               More information
TechLaw’s cost evaluations, cost analysis, and cost auditing services include evaluating the technical and legal appropriateness of past response action costs, estimating and reviewing estimates of reasonable future costs, auditing costs claimed for contribution or recovery, collecting cost information, and identifying missing documentation; reviewing and evaluating response action costs; developing cost benefit analysis; and reviewing engineering evaluation/cost analysis (EE/CA) reports. Our work has helped clients to achieve settlements, such as one project where our efforts assisted a state agency in recovering over $17M for one site.

Expert Witness Support       More information
