Joe Richardson, Karen Norton and Kim Wood from our Port Orchard, WA, office did litter pickup along the Theler Wetland Trails on the shores of the Hood Canal. It’s a cleanup they’ve done a few times before. Not far from the trails is the Pacific Northwest Salmon Center, which was a TBT for TechLaw. Back in 2008, we performed an Environmental Site Assessment at the Johnson Farms property for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. That assessment led the WDFW to purchase the property—and the Pacific Northwest Salmon Center was born. The Center is a “world-class education and research center” which has enhanced public knowledge and appreciation for the values of wild salmon and the related ecosystem. We’re proud to have played a part in the establishment of the center.
