TechLaw was founded in 1983 by professionals who helped forge enforcement and compliance programs during the earliest days of the US Environmental Protection Agency in the 1970s. They discovered that successfully resolving complex environmental issues involved the application of regulatory principles and an understanding of scientific disciplines and the law—bolstered by the latest technology. What started with EPA support contracts run out of two small offices in Virginia and Colorado is now a nationwide company serving as a successful contractor supporting federal, state and local governments, nonprofit agencies, and the private sector for nearly four decades. In that time, we have held nearly $1 billion in prime federal government contracts alone—primarily in support of the U.S. EPA. TechLaw is also a longtime subcontractor, providing support on dozens of federal and state contracts, past and present.
Today, TechLaw is a prominent provider of technical environmental expertise in areas including remediation management and oversight, laboratory support, Potentially Responsible Party (PRP) services, risk assessment, emergency response, Environmental Site Assessments, and numerous related fields. Throughout our history, we have cultivated a deep knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, the latest science, an embrace of new technology, and uncompromising integrity, making us a trusted provider of expertise in the environmental arena. Our consultants help government and commercial clients assess performance, manage risk, implement sustainable remedies and resolve uncertainty.
TechLaw is a division of TechLaw Consultants, Inc., an employee-owned company based in Chantilly, VA, primarily doing business as TechLaw and TLI Solutions—two established environmental consulting firms with decades of performance and expertise.
